The Bird, The Crown, The Colt is now touring Minnesota and Wisconsin libraries as part of the National Endowment for the Arts Big Read in the St. Croix Valley. Through ArtReach St. Croix, Al was honored with a commission to interpret the iconic statue from Dashiell Hammett’s novel, The Maltese Falcon. In the process, he added a hat and gun, forming a truly noir group.
